Graduated from Longwood College in 2000 with a degree in graphic design and photography, Katey Petrey McCarney uses her knowledge to create beautiful and functional websites for her clients in Richmond VA and beyond. She has been in the Web industry for a number of years. In 2010, she set out on her own and created PetreyDish.Com. She has many business mentors she looks up to. Katey is always looking to learn more in her field either by reading, taking classes or participating in online chats via Twitter.
In the evenings when she isn't working, you can find her in the kitchen cooking, baking or both. She loves to put healthier twists to traditional family recipes and researching her own recipes. You may have seen her in the Richmond Times-Dispatch in the Food Section.
Katey is also a member of the Virginia United Methodist Board of Communications and a member of The United Methodist Association of Communicators. She also runs a women's networking group that meets once a month. She not only leads the discussions, but she also arranges guest speakers, makes arrangements for the meeting location and writes the newsletter.
On the weekends you will find her helping friends with their businesses, volunteering as an usher for CenterStage, at the church, or spending time with the family. She and her husband are also foster parents to dogs for BARK. We are excited to report that our latest foster has found his forever home!
PetreyDish.Com’s mission is to provide customized websites and quality services to our clients to increase their World Wide Web presence and help them use the Web to grow their business.
