About PetreyDish.Com, Richmond, VA

I’m Katey Petrey McCarney and I graduated from Longwood College in 2000 with a degree in graphic design and photography. I use my knowledge to create beautiful and functional websites for clients in Richmond, VA and beyond. I’ve been in the website design industry since 2007. In 2010, I set out on my own and created PetreyDish.Com. I have several business mentors and am always learning more in my field by reading, researching, taking classes or participating in online chats. I also continue to practice taking photos and improving my photo editing.

If I’m not working late or on a weekend, you can find me working out, cooking or participating in church activities. I love putting a healthier twist on traditional family recipes. You may have seen me in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Food Section.

I am also a member of the Virginia United Methodist Board of Communications and a member of The United Methodist Association of Communicators (UMAC) and ran two workshops at the 2014 conference.

My husband and I also rescue dogs and are excited to report that our latest foster has found his forever home! We are also proud supporters of Heart Heavens and UMFS.
